Terms

hyprmac is free software offered by one person, as-is. These terms exist so everyone knows where they stand, not to hide anything in a wall of clauses.

Using hyprmac

You may install and use hyprmac on any Mac you own or control, for anything you like, personal or commercial, at no charge. No licence key, no seat count, no registration.

Please do not sell it, repackage it as your own, or distribute modified builds under the hyprmac name. If you want to point people at it, link to wisp-os.com/download so they get a signed build rather than something that has passed through other hands.

It is beta software

hyprmac moves and resizes the windows of other applications. It has been tested and it is used daily on the machine it was written on, but it is version 0.1 and it will have bugs.

Quitting it with ⌥⇧Q returns every window it moved. It does not modify, delete or touch the contents of your documents, and it changes no system settings other than the ones you explicitly ask it to.

No warranty

hyprmac is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any claim, damages, lost work, lost time or other liability arising from the software or its use. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Donations

Donations are voluntary gifts, not purchases. They buy no product, no licence, no feature, no support commitment and no priority. Everything on this site is available whether you donate or not.

A donation is not a pre-order for anything unreleased. Because nothing is being sold, donations are generally non-refundable — but if you gave by mistake or changed your mind, email support@wisp-os.com and we will refund it without argument.

Payments are processed by Stripe, under Stripe's own terms.

The mailing list

You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. We send it when there is something real to say, and we do not pass your address to anyone.

Other people's names

Hyprland, Omarchy, Apple, macOS and any other product names on this site belong to their respective owners. Wisp OS is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. They are named only to describe what hyprmac is like and what it runs on.

Changes

These terms may change as the software does. The date at the top says when they last did.
